On-Site ReupholsteryMinimal Venue DowntimeNorfolk & UK-wide
We come to your venue and reupholster fixed seating, banquettes and loose furniture in place, so your restaurant, hotel, gym or clinic keeps trading while the work happens.
Reupholstery that doesn't shut you down
On-site reupholstery is what separates a specialist contract workshop from a domestic upholsterer. Fixed banquettes, oversized headboards, dental chairs, gym benches and hospital seating often can't be removed without dismantling, and even loose pieces are expensive to strip out, transport, refurbish and reinstall.
We travel across the UK to reupholster in situ. Our team works around your trading hours or in pre-agreed closure windows, contains the work zone properly, and hands you back seating that looks and behaves like new, usually within the same day or over a scheduled overnight.
This is a service we've built for hospitality operators, healthcare providers, dental and clinical practices, gym and leisure operators, and any commercial setting where downtime costs more than the reupholstery itself.
The hidden cost of taking seating off-site
Traditional reupholstery means strip-out, transport, weeks in a workshop, and then reinstall. For a hotel it can mean rooms out of inventory. For a restaurant it can mean covers lost. For a healthcare setting it can mean rescheduled appointments. The reupholstery bill is often the smallest number in that stack.
The alternative, leaving tired, torn or non-compliant seating in service, is worse. Ripped fabric fails hygiene audits, gaps in foam fail insurance inspections, and worn public seating shifts guest perception in a way that lands directly on revenue.
Assuming fixed banquettes can't be reupholstered without ripping them out
Booking a domestic upholsterer without contract insurance or Crib 5 fabric access
Waiting until fabric fails a hygiene or fire audit before acting
Not scheduling around trading hours, closing when you could have stayed open
Overlooking on-site work in favour of a cheaper full-replacement quote
Simple to start. Precise to finish.

Contract-grade Crib 5 fabrics or Customer's Own Material, sampled to match your existing scheme.
Scheduling
We schedule around your trading hours, overnight, phased by section, or during a closure window.
On-Site Work

Handover
Work zone cleaned, seating photographed, guarantee confirmed. You reopen, often the same day.
Concrete benefits, not brochure copy.
Minimal Downtime
Overnight or phased scheduling means most venues never fully close for the work.

£5M public liability and £5M employer's liability, so client and operator sites are protected.

Where on-site reupholstery is the right answer
Not every job belongs on site, but a large share of contract reupholstery does. Here's how we assess it and what the work covers.
Hospitality, restaurants, hotels, pubs & bars
Fixed banquettes, booth seating, bar stools, lobby lounge sets, bedroom headboards and armchairs. We phase work by section so the venue can keep trading in the untouched half.
Healthcare, dental & clinical
Waiting-room seating, dental chair upholstery, examination benches, consultation-room seating. Contract-grade wipe-clean vinyls and antimicrobial fabrics; work scheduled around clinic hours.
Gyms, spas & leisure
Weight benches, reception seating, changing-room banquettes, treatment beds. High-abrasion fabrics and vinyls, refoamed to the correct density for member use.
Workshop backup
Some jobs, full frame rebuilds, complex re-shaping, or pieces that need a spraying booth, are better done at our Norwich workshop. We collect, refurbish and return.
Fabric responsibility (COM/COL)
We're happy to work in Customer's Own Material. On COM jobs, fire-retardancy documentation stays with the client; we upholster to the standard the fabric supports.
Straight answers, before you enquire.
Do you cover the whole UK?+
Yes. We travel from Norwich across the whole UK for on-site reupholstery. Travel is quoted as part of the job, no surprises.
Do we have to close while you work?+
Rarely. Most venues stay open by phasing the work, running overnight, or scheduling around trading hours.
How long does on-site work take?+
Depends on volume and complexity. Small banquette repairs can be same-day; a full restaurant refresh may run over several nights. We'll confirm timings when we quote.
Is it more expensive than a workshop job?+
The reupholstery itself is comparable; travel is added. The saving is the downtime avoided, usually the bigger number by an order of magnitude.
Can you match our existing fabric?+
Yes, we sample against the existing scheme and can source close matches or specify a full replacement scheme where matching isn't possible.
Do you handle dental and healthcare seating?+
Yes, clinical settings are a regular part of our on-site work. We use appropriate wipe-clean vinyls and schedule around clinic hours.
What's included in the quote?+
Materials, labour, travel and site protection are itemised. Site surveys are chargeable if required and the cost is included in the final quote.
Are you insured to work on our premises?+
Yes, £5M public liability and £5M employer's liability insurance. Documents supplied on request.
